The French Butter Keeper is a unique way of storing butter, and has been used for centuries in Europe.
Softened butter is pressed into the bell shaped lid and water is kept in the base of the crock. This creates an airtight seal for the butter, allowing it to stay at room temperature for perfect spreading consistency. Butter can be kept for up to two weeks. You should change the water once a week.
